Mitsubishi 18,000 BTU 19.1 SEER Hyper Heat Horizontal Ducted Heat Pump System

The Mitsubishi 18,000 BTU single-zone horizontal ducted air handler and outdoor hyper heat universal heat pump unit (SEZ-KD18NA*/SUZ-KA18NAHZ*) is an extremely efficient low-temperature heating and cooling option that is great for mid-size rooms below an attic. 

 The SUZ-KA18NAHZ* is the Mitsubishi's current 18,000 BTU outdoor heat pump model. This outdoor unit will support you even in sub 0 Fahrenheit temperatures! The SEZ-KD18NA* low-static horizontal ducted indoor air handler is an innovative piece of equipment. Slim in design and excellent in performance, this air handler is easy to install and designed to cool and heat three or four mid-sized rooms through a short duct run. The SEZ series may be mounted in the attic, hidden in the ceiling or beneath the floor, or concealed behind a bulkhead. The unit is equipped with built-in condensate lifting mechanism. This system is ideal for customers who own cape cods or need their hard to reach rooms conditioned well.

For proper installation, plan for:

1. Line Set - When hooking up the indoor air handler to the outdoor unit, you'll need a 1/4" x 1/2" line-set kit  This is necessary for the start up and operation of the system. 
2. Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The disconnect & whip kit  provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your homes' electrical panel.
3. Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad (Optional) - This pad provides an even surface, free of debris, on which to place your outdoor condenser. It can also be used with snow-risers to provide separation from the ground. 
4. Wall Bracket (Optional) - This wall bracket is a simple and sturdy way to mount your condenser unit off of the ground and attached to the wall. It can handle up to 300 lb
