In the MRCOOL multi-zone lineup there are two different styles with the 9,000 BTU capacity, a wall mounted unit and a ceiling cassette. Both of those indoor units can be used with any of the MRCOOL multi-zone outdoor units.

Except for the DIYCASSETTE09HP-230C25, yes, all of the MRCOOL 9,000 BTU systems are wifi compatible out of the box. As long as they're connected to wifi, you're able to control your mini split from anywhere from your smartphone or tablet.
