The MRCOOL® UHP1824AH24-O Universal® 5th Gen 24,000 BTU Central Heat Pump System is a high-efficiency ducted heating and cooling solution designed for dependable, year-round comfort in residential applications. Combining a 2-ton inverter-driven outdoor heat pump condenser with a multi-position indoor air handler , this system delivers consistent temperatures, quiet operation, and outstanding energy savings. Utilizing environmentally friendly R-454B refrigerant , it offers a significantly lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than previous-generation refrigerants while maintaining excellent heating and cooling performance. 

Designed for installation flexibility, the Universal® air handler supports upflow, downflow, and horizontal configurations , making it an excellent choice for closets, basements, attics, crawl spaces, and utility rooms. An advanced 100% aluminum M-shaped evaporator coil maximizes heat transfer while resisting corrosion for long-lasting durability. The system is also compatible with MRCOOL® No-Vac® Quick Connect® line sets (sold separately) or traditional field-installed refrigerant piping, giving contractors and homeowners greater installation flexibility. Optional electric heat kits are available for auxiliary and emergency heat in colder climates.
