The indoor unit features Mitsubishi’s advanced 3D i-see Sensor®, which scans the room for heat signatures, movement, and temperature variations to adjust airflow automatically for optimal comfort and energy savings. It includes individual vane settings for direct or indirect airflow, swing-mode air distribution, high/low ceiling airflow settings, and a built-in condensate lift mechanism to simplify installation. The 33" × 33" ceiling footprint and washable filter make it a practical solution for light commercial applications. Knockouts for fresh-air intake and branch ducting expand installation flexibility.

The PUY-AK48NL outdoor unit is built for continuous cooling, offering 24-hour operation and superior low-ambient performance down to –40°F with wind baffles—delivering 100% capacity in extreme conditions. It features Blue Fin anti-corrosion coil coating and full seacoast protection with phosphate and acrylic enamel-coated panels, epoxy-coated motor supports, and corrosion-resistant components rated for 2,000 hours of ASTM B117 salt-spray durability. The inverter-driven twin-rotary compressor ensures precise and efficient cooling output, while built-in protections such as high-pressure safeguards and fast restart enhance reliability. The unit is pre-charged with R454B refrigerant for the first 100 feet of line length, reducing installation complexity.
