The PAA-BA18NL indoor unit is engineered for compatibility with most ANSI-certified gas furnaces and supports Mitsubishi intelli-HEAT® technology for intelligent switchover between heat pump and furnace operation. This hybrid functionality helps optimize comfort, improve efficiency, and reduce energy usage during colder weather conditions. The indoor unit features a durable, high-quality drain pan with excellent heat tolerance and low moisture absorption for long-term reliability. Flexible multi-position installation supports horizontal and vertical configurations—including left, right, upflow, and downflow orientations—making the system adaptable to a wide range of HVAC applications and retrofit projects.

The SUZ-AK24NLHZ outdoor condenser features Mitsubishi’s industry-leading H2i® Hyper-Heating technology, providing 100% heating performance down to 5°F and guaranteed heating operation down to -13°F. The INVERTER-driven twin rotary compressor precisely adjusts output based on demand for improved comfort, quieter operation, and lower energy consumption. Flash Injection technology enhances compressor performance during extreme cold temperatures, while the built-in base pan heater helps prevent freezing after defrost cycles for dependable winter operation.

Built for durability in harsh environments, the outdoor unit includes Blue Fin anti-corrosion coating and seacoast protection to guard against salt, sulfur, and airborne contaminants.
