A factory-designed base pan heater further supports dependable operation in extreme cold-climate conditions.

Fujitsu also notes that the system can continue operating below its rated outdoor temperature range under varying conditions, with no low-temperature cutout, although capacity is not tested outside the rated range.

The compact outdoor unit supports refrigerant line lengths of up to 66 ft , with a maximum height difference of 49 ft , providing added flexibility when locating the outdoor unit. It uses standard 1/4″ liquid and 3/8″ gas flare connections and comes factory pre-charged for up to 49 ft of piping , with a minimum line length of 10 ft.
